Mrs. Lamkin's 103rd birthday celebration
Sunday School classes resumed on Sunday, September 7. The children were each given a bag which held school supplies. During the morning church service Pastor Heather led a prayer blessing the children with their backpacks.
Our Bender Scholarship recipients, Orion and Christian, were recognized and received their scholarship money during the morning service.

The youth of the church visited the Funny Farm and presented Lori with a donation raised during Vacation Bible School.
Today, the Vacation Bible School adventure, True North, started with the youth leading the entire church service. Awesome doesn't begin to describe how well they stepped up to the challenge and conducted the service. July 20, 2025

Fellowship, Fun and Celebration of the Moravian Church's 568th Birthday!
The Reverend Heather Robinson Owens was installed as the new pastor.
The installation service was led by Rev. Melissa Johnson, President of the Eastern District Executive Board and Mrs. Lauren Grady, Delaware Valley Representative to the Eastern District Executive Board. The Joint Board joined in the laying of hands and members of the congregation welcomed Pastor Heather with the right hand of fellowship. The service was concluded with a message from Reverend Robinson Owens followed by a welcoming luncheon.
The congregation thanked Rev. George Richmond for his faithful service during the call process for our new minister. He was made an honorary member of the Egg Harbor City Moravian Church and was assured there would be future opportunities to lead us in worship.

Music was provided by the children of the congregation, as they sang "We Are the Church" and by Chris on guitar and Jeremy singing, "God You Are". The adult choir sang, "Here I Am Lord", as their morning anthem. |
Children participated during the service collecting cereal for our food pantry and taking the offering.
The scripture readings were done by several of the young adults in the congregation.
A reception with light refreshments was held after the service in the auditorium.
We are truly blessed to have an active church family that
enjoys working together, as they worship and serve the Lord.

The Reverend and Mrs. Elmer D. Bender Scholarship Fund Scholarships are given each year to congregational college students who meet the scholarship's guidelines. Accrued interest is used for these scholarships and donations to the fund are welcome.
